Since 1815 Zlatoust has been taking the glory of other representatives of Russian side-arms art. «A&R» Company» Ltd has been producing side-arms since 1999.

Sword-armourers from «A&R» Company» Ltd have kept and multiplied the traditions which were founded by their great-grandparents and well-known fellow countrymen – Pavel Anosov and Ivan Bushuev.
For the production of the blades we use high-technological steel marks

After special heat treatment we have blades with the following hardness:

• 57-58 Rockwell for 40X10C2M, 95X18 (440*C)*
• 58-59 Rockwell for 100*X*13M, RWL-34
• 60-61 Rockwell for damask steel.

Every high-quality blade needs a comfortable and functional handle of high-quality. In the manufacturing of handles for our blades we use natural materials (such as birch bark, leather, wood of walnut tree, beech-tree, box-tree, ebony, bubinga, kevazingo and karelian birch-tree wood) and stainless steel, aluminium, brass, rubber and textolite.

High-quality sheathes for the knives of «A&R Company» Ltd have been produced by Ekaterinburg company «Stich-Profi» since 2003. All the knives of «A&R» Company Ltd» have a guarantee against manufacturing defects for 10 years. All the knives have passed the state certification and all of them are completed with a copy of the certificate and the product passport. All the serial knives are with protective hologramm: the sign of the A&R Company, six-digit numeration and logotype of the Company.
